Text Messaging is your friend…

Dating

For those that have already discovered this hidden tool then you can skip this post, for those of that have not please read on.

As a guy you have three ways to communicate with a girl you are dating.

1. Calling - This is the most direct and dangerous of all three methods of dating communciation.

2. Email - This is the most passive way communication medium, yet is not for the faint of heart, as it has a few twists. We will talk about these different turns in a bit.

3. Text Messaging - This form of communication is by far the best way to begin in the early stages of dating. It’s the equivalent of a subtle smile, when calling is a handshake.

MotorolaMost guys will call, and you do have to call at first. This is part of putting yourself out there and waiting for the rejection that could ruin your week. However once you have proceeded with the initial call and have hung out once or twice, you would be best served by text messaging. Why you ask?

Quite simply because if you call all the time it’s annoying. It reeks of desperation, and if nothing else it shows that you have nothing else to do but call your new found girl. I dont’ know about you but if someone starts calling me all the time it freaks me out. And so it will freak out your new girl. However I know as a guy, that you need some type of contact or reassurance that all is not for naught. Hence the text message.

A text message will show her 3 things, they are as follows:

1. You actually have a life, but are thinking about her.

2. Have a sense of humor. FYI, never text her “Watcha doing?”. Well at least not in the beginning, that’s saved for when she’s your girlfriend, and she knows that you have no life except for her. Be funny, be witty, be yourself (Well, that is, unless you are not funny nor witty).

3. Are not in a Rush. This is huge. The most common mistake a guy can make is to show a girl that he is in a rush. Rush = Desperation = She’s NOT calling you back. So right when you are about to call, press the option button and “Send Text Message” instead.
